Magnetic have released the third single from their upcoming album, which will be released in 2023. The track is called Self Control and it’s unlike anything the band has done before. Self Control is a mix of low-chord guitar, heavy drums and harsh yet soulful vocals.

Magnetic is a progressive/djent/crossover band from Sofia (Bulgaria). The band was created in 2012 by drummer Roumen Minevchev.

In 2017, the band’s concerts outside Bulgaria began. They had several tours in Romania. In 2018 and 2019, the band played with bands like Annihilator, Harakiri for the sky and so on. At the end of 2019, Magnetic band’s first album was released. It’s called You Know My Name. Also in 2019, on October 15, the single Hyperbola was released. The promotion of the album took place in several European countries. The tour was supposed to continue in 2020 with another 30 dates, but due to the pandemic it had to be cancelled.

In 2020, Magnetic underwent many line-up changes. The band decided to stick with just one guitarist, bringing in a new bass player as well. In 2021, the band played at 2 festivals in Romania, including Maximum Rock Festival 2021 with bands such as: Epica, Therion, Nervosa, Eluveitie and the list can go on. In the winter of 2021, the first single from the band’s upcoming second album – Darkness And Shadows – was released. In 2022, 2 more were released – Bullet In The Neck and Self Control. In the summer of 2022, the band performed at the Way too far festival and the Posada festival in Romania with bands such as Venom, Katatonia, The Haunted, Within Temptation and others.
