POPPY va lansa album nou „Negative Spaces”

Poppy, cunoscută anterior ca That Poppy, este o cântăreață, compozitoare și YouTuber din SUA. Ea a semnat un contract cu Island Records în 2014. De atunci, a lansat 5 albume, pe care a cântat de la electropop la nu metal, de la industrial rock la heavy metal și de la alternative rock la dark pop.
POPPY a fost nominalizată în 2021 la Premiul Grammy pentru cea mai bună voce metal, ea fiind prima artistă solo feminină nominalizată la această categorie.
Turneu Poppy
POPPY va pleca într-un turneu nord-american în deschiderea formației 30 Seconds to Mars. Turneul va ajunge și in Europa. Turneul va debuta în Glasgow, apoi va continua în Manchester, Birmingham, Cardiff, Amsterdam și altele. Spre sfârșitul turneului, în luna octombrie, ultimile concerte ale turneului vor fi în orașe cumva exotice când vine vorba de concerte rock, ca Baku, Tbilisi, Tașkent, Astana, Kaunas și Riga. Se pare că POPPY nu servește astfel de orașe. Ea va cânta în deschidere doar la concertele din SUA.
Turneul va ajunge și în București, pe 25 Octombrie, concert la Sala Laminorul.
ALBUM NOU
Noul album al lui Poppy „Negative Spaces” va fi lansat pe 15 noiembrie prin Sumerian Records.
În ultimii ani, Poppy s-a transformat în muzician experimental/electronic/avangardist/metal.
A lansat melodii precum „They’re all around us” și „New Way Out”.
De asemenea, a colaborat cu formații ca Bad Omens și Knocked Loose în ultimele luni.
Desigur, toate acestea au fost pentru ca oamenii să vorbească despre Poppy înainte de anunțul albumului. Negative Spaces va fi al șaselea ei album.
Albumul este produs de fostul clapar de la Bring Me The Horizon, Jordan Fish.
