SERJ TANKIAN este un muzician și compozitor armeano-american. Este cunoscut ca vocalistul și textierul principal al formației System of a Down.

Tankian a lansat cinci albume cu System of a Down. Pe lângă acestea, a lansat și cinci albume solo.

Tankian este considerat unul dintre cei mai buni vocaliști de heavy metal, datorită gamei sale vocale largi. Un studiu realizat de VVN Music a constatat că Tankian posedă o gamă vocală înaltă și diversă de 4,2 octave.

După ce și-a lansat memoriile și o piesă System of a Down nedistribuită anterior, el ne-a oferit „Justice Will Shine On”, a doua piesă de pe viitorul său EP „Foundations”.

Singleul este vesel din punct de vedere instrumental și foarte întunecat din punct de vedere liric. Asta nu este ceva nou pentru Tankian. Îi place să ne împingă disconfortul pe gât.
