DELAIN au lansat video nou „Dance With The Devil”
BIOGRAFIE
Delain este o formație olandeză de metal simfonic formată în 2002 de fostul membru de la Within Temptation, Martijn Westerholt. El a creat formația cu intenția ca aceasta sa fie doar un proiect personal. Cântăreața Charlotte Wessels a fost invitată să se alăture formației în 2005.
Numele trupei vine de la Regatul Delain din romanul lui Stephen King, „The Eyes of the Dragon”.
În februarie 2021, membrii formației s-au despărțit și Westerholt a declarat că va continua trupa ca proiect solo.
În iunie 2021, Westerholt a anunțat că va exista un nou line-up care să implice atât fosti, cât și noi membri.
Diana Leah a fost anunțată ca noua vocalistă principală în august 2022.
MELODII NOI
Delain a lansat cel mai recent album Dark Waters în 2023 (amanunte despre album aici si aici)
Acesta nu era singurul material nou pe care îl aveau înregistrat.
Delain va lansa noul lor EP Dance With The Devil pe 8 noiembrie și au lansat un videoclip nou „Dance With the Devil”.

Legat de videoclipul pentru „Dance With The Devil”, Martijn Westerholt a oferit detalii: „Acest videoclip a fost filmat a doua zi după ce am cântat la Summer Breeze în Germania. Încă mai aveam adrenalina acelui concert și am fost încântați că putem pune acea energie în videoclip. Ne-am distrat de minune! Videoclipul conține o reprezentare dramatizată a luptei dintre bine și rău. Războiul pe care toți îl ducem atât în afară, cât și, de multe ori, în interiorul nostru”.
EP-ul si Digipack-ul
EP-ul „Dance With The Devil” include două piese noi – „Dance With The Devil” și „The Reaping”, o versiune nou-nouță a melodiei „Sleepwalkers Dream” și nouă melodii live.
În plus, versiunea digipak a „Dance With The Devil” include versiuni instrumentale ale melodiilor „Dance With The Devil” și „The Reaping”, precum și o versiune alternativă a melodiei „Underland”.
„Suntem încântați să avem material nou-nouț, gata să fie lansat!” spuse Westerholt. „Pe lângă noile melodii, a fost fantastic că am surprins câteva momente live magice din turneul nostru european de la începutul acestui an ca piese live pentru EP. Suntem foarte încântați de această lansare și așteptăm cu nerăbdare să cântăm live noile melodii!”
TURNEU
Delain va pleca într-un turneu extins (19 concerte) în America de Nord la începutul lui 2025 împreuna cu formațiile Xandria și Edge Of Paradise.
