Anthrax va lansa un whiskey în memoria lui Dimebag

Anthrax, împreună cu Hillrock Estate Distillery va lansa, pe 4 iulie 2020, un whiskey în memoria lui Dimebag. Noul brand, creat în fabrica King’s Barrel, se numește „The Healer” și va fi produs într-o ediție limitată de 360 de sticle. Acestea pot fi comandate, online, la prețul de 140 de dolari.

Scott Ian, chitaristul și membrul fondator al trupei Anthrax, a declarat:„If we arrived for soundcheck a little hung over, Dimebag would be standing there with a knowing Cheshire Cat smile, a shot of whiskey at the ready and the words ‘booze is the healer.’ And g*****n if it didn’t work. Put us right back on the horse.”, în timp ce Charlie Benante, toboșarul formației Anthrax, a ținut să precizeze: „The first time I heard Dimebag refer to booze being a healer was when we were on tour together and I was really sick. He came onto our bus, opened my bunk curtain, gave me a shot of whiskey and said ‘booze is the healer.'”.
